COVID-19 Visitor Guidelines

For all visitors including clients, instructors, students, renters, parents, and guests.

BEFORE YOU COME TO SHIFT, answer the following questions:

In the last 10 days, have you:

  • Experienced ANY COVID-19 symptoms such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea?
  • Been in close contact with someone with cold, flu, or confirmed COVID-19?
  • Had a positive COVID-19 test?

In the case of symptoms, confirmed or suspected exposure, follow the current CDC guidelines.

  • Stay home if you are sick with symptoms.
  • In the case of an exposure, wear a well-fitting mask the entire time at SHIFT. Watch for symptoms, which can develop 2 days before and 10 days after exposure.
    • If your exposure is a household member, we prefer you stay home and do not enter SHIFT.
  • Test on Day 6. If your test is:
    • negative, continue masking for 10 full days.
    • positive, isolate immediately and notify SHIFT management/your instructor/therapist.
  • Check with your instructor or therapist. Each individual business may have specific guidelines for you to follow regarding returning to class or treatments.

If COVID positive, STAY HOME. You may return to SHIFT after 5 days IF fever-free for 24 hours, without fever-reducing medication. Otherwise, do not return to SHIFT until these conditions are met. Continue masking for 10 full days.

Inform SHIFT management/your instructor/therapist is important so we can disinfect the area and initiate contact tracing, if necessary.

SHIFT strongly recommends staying up to date on COVID vaccinations and boosters.

Have you traveled nationally or internationally or attended any large gatherings of questionable safety/higher risk? Consider taking a rapid-test before returning to SHIFT. We appreciate it!

INSIDE SHIFT

  • Hand sanitizer is located throughout the building. We recommend that you wash/sanitize your hands frequently while at SHIFT.
  • Remove your shoes and place them on the shoe shelf.
  • Walk directly through the front space to the studio. Do not linger or congregate in the lobby before OR after class. When class is over, leave promptly.
  • If you need to fill your water bottle, do not linger or congregate at the sink.

ONCE CLASS IS OVER

  • Once all students have vacated the studio, your instructor will disinfect all surfaces that may have been touched, including but not limited to: doorknobs, window latches, sills, ledges, tables, light switches, faucet handles, toilet seats, toilet flusher, doorknob to the studio, exiting light switches, inside and outside of front doorknobs, and keypads.
